It’s now officially our slower season, but the ferries still offer one of the best deals in cruise travel.  Where else can you cruise 90 minutes of inland waterway for under $100, and bring your car?  Remember, the fare you pay in Anacortes is round trip and you won’t be charged going back to the mainland.  Check out the sailing schedule here.

While the first official day of summer may have been a couple of days ago, the Washington State Ferry system starts its summer today with the new, expanded ferry schedule.  One cool addition is two daily sailings between Anacortes, WA and Sydney BC (for people going to Victoria, also), with the evening sailing landing in Friday Harbor.   Decoding this strange system can be a little tricky, so call Elements hotel  & spa if you have any questions.
