Adam, when the play-list fairy comes again, do you think he could put some Buena Vista Social Club and maybe some of the tamer Daddy Yankee on?
"The harder they come", the movie will finally be released on DVD, date still unknown. Have you ever seen the movie?

Maybe it's the weather, but old-school reggae is creeping to the forefront of my ipod lately. I am particularly loving old Jimmy Cliff songs from before he got real polished. "The Harder They Come" is an obvious classic, but "Many Rivers To Cross: The Best of Jimmy Cliff" contains a lot of gems from his lesser-known albums, as well as a lot of the "Harder They Come" tracks.

The Decemberists
The kids and I have been listening to a lot of The Decemberists lately. Great Portland band, and some of you know how much I love quirky things from our old hometown. I think they're playing in Bellingham tonight. They also have a great website.
