Comprehensive Island Events
As far as I can tell, we have the most comprehensive listing of San Juan Island events and activities, presented in calendar format on the right side of our website. These calendar features can sometimes be a little…funky. Of course, we are big fans of funk and have been known drop everything and booty pop whenever some heavy bass comes through the hi-fi. After all, funk is why we chose to blend our vintage, retro motel into the whole spa hotel thing, rather than just scrape it and start over.
Step one on that calendar is to roll your cursor over the dates you’re considering. Whenever something interesting pops up, you can click on that date for a detailed listing of that days’ events. Event dates and times appear in red. Some days are more than one page long, so be sure to click “previous entries” for more and more funk. Get down. Be funky. Check it out. Yeah….

I know it is a little early to post this but on July 12 Island Stage Left starts there summer outdoor Shakespeare show. The show this year is The Comedy Of Errors and should be amazing, I have seen there show almost every summer for years now and they are amazing. Admission is free, they just ask for donations. It is under the stars at Roche Harbor Thursday thru Sunday July 12- August 5. August 9th they move to 1062 Wold rd and have perfomances thru the 18th. (No show on the 12th of Aug.) I advise dressing Warmly and Bringing a Blanket. They serve coffee, tea and hot chocolate and intermission. This is a must do on the island. It is a great way to meet locals and get the true island experience.

There is an orca sing going on saterday the 16th of june. local singers and whale lovers of the San Juans, along with whomever else wants to croon our orca whale visitors. Everyone gets together at the limestone point veiwing area. Im not sure what they sing but it sounds like a memorable and fun experience for all ages. check the San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce for more info!www.sanjuanisland.org
