Hi there -- found you while doing a search on Verana. I live in Seattle and plan to go to Verana in March...wondering what room you would recommend? Thanks.

My favorite Mexican town~I traveled to a place north of Verana, about 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta, a surf town called Sayulita! I learned to surf, I met all the locals. One of the things I enjoyed most was fishing with a hand line some kids taught me to make with a soda bottle. We fished until the sun set. Salsa Saturdays at Calypso Club, great food and even better people!

Just heard from Chako, who Laura and I met at Verana. One of the greatest things about Verana for us was that we met some really, really cool people who we hope to stay in touch with. Turns out Chako and Bill are coming to the Seattle area in June. With any luck we'll be comparing spicy margarita recipes on South Beach in a matter of weeks! Great vacations have a residual effect like this, making life spicier long after you've washed all the sand out of your backpack. See you soon, Chako and Bill!
