<description>Well, it's hard not to recommend ourselves. We feel that ELEMENTS has compiled the most interesting and wonderful set of amenities on the island. But I suppose that's obvious. You might also like Bird Rock Hotel, the completely reinvented, upscale rendition of San Juan Island's landmark hotel, opening this spring with a truly unbeatable combination of style, authenticity and amenities. Also take a look at Friday Harbor House. A bit staid by today's standards, but still the only waterfront hotel on the island, with a nice restaurant to boot.

Be sure to visit San Juan vineyards while you're here. Dine at Steps Wine Bar and Cafe (they do our room service), Duck Soup Inn and Backdoor Kitchen.

Drop us a line if you have any unanswered questions. You might enjoy browsing through www.travelsanjuan.com, a comprehensive island information portal.
